Catherine Whall Smith in Art Quilt Elements!

Art Quilt Elements is a wonderful fiber exhibit at the Wayne Art
Center that includes "Transfusion #3" by our own Catherine Whall Smith www.catherinewhallsmith.com

AND
Catherine had had two (12 x 12) pieces in my
Transfusion "PARTS" series juried into the Connecticut Women Artists
show to be held at the Art League of New Britain.  

The opening is Sunday, April 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 with a talk - "American Women
Artists in Late Nineteenth-Century Italy".

The Connecticut Academy of Fine Art (CAFA) has juried Catherine's
"Transfusion #5" into their April show at the Mystic Museum of Art.  

She will be posting more information on this all-media show on her blog.

Remember the SAQA-CT meeting in Meriden on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Remember the artwork you want to submit to the Gallery 53 show and if you cannot be there Saturday please note there is a drop off on Friday, March 23, 12-3 p.m.

Mystic Museum of Art

Catherine Whall Smith's piece "Transfusion #2" was awarded the Joseph Gaultieri Prize in The 61st Regional All Media Show at the Mystic Museum of Art (MMOA) in Mystic, CT. It hangs August 4th through September 16th.

CWA Exhibition at Arts Center East

The Connecticut Women's Artist (CWA) 2017 87th Annual Open Juried Exhibition show is now hanging at Arts Center East in Vernon, CT. This show includes selected works by CWA members and national artists from MA, NY, NJ, VA, OH, NV, CA, and AZ. The reception will be from 2-4pm on September 10th. Pieces in the show include work by Mary Lachman and Catherine Whall Smith.
