Art Quilt Elements 2012 Opens at Wayne Art Center (Wayne, PA)

Art Quilt Elements (AQE) 2012 opened on March 30th, coinciding with SAQA/SDA’s Conference and Fiber Philadelphia 2012.

Jurors Elizabeth Barton, David Revere McFadden and Sandra Sider viewed nearly 800 images from 300 artist entries and chose 45 pieces for the exhibition.

Kate Themel (seen here next to her AQE piece “Stars Not Included”) was thrilled to have her work chosen for this incredibly diverse and inspiring collection.  She was very happy to see many fellow SAQA-CT members in attendance at the opening reception.
