New Exhibition and Cover Art for SAQA CT Artist Lisa Corson

Congratulations to SAQA-CT artist Lisa Corson!

Corson’s fiber artwork “Emerging” (image, left) has been accepted into National Fiber Directions 2013, April 5 – May 19, 2013 at the Wichita Center for the Arts.

“This year’s exhibition showcases traditional and innovative techniques in the fiber discipline. This nationally juried exhibition is one of the Center’s premier exhibitions. The Juror, Pauline Verbeek-Cowart, has chosen an exceptional representation from the submitted entries.”

Lisa also created artwork featured on the cover of the book “Distant Horizons – Chinavare’s Find, Book Three” by M.A. Roberts (image, below).
