SAQA CT Co-Rep Diane Wright will be very busy this November!
Two of Diane’s art quilts, Abstraction 1 and Crow have been selected for Connecticut Women Artists' "2010 Members Juried Show".
Connecticut Women Artists will host an Opening Reception on Saturday, November 6, from 2 – 4 PM

Wright is also participating in the Shoreline Arts Trail. This year, you can preview the Open Studios Weekend at the Guilford Art Center. Works from all 37 participating artists will be exhibited as part of Artistry, the Center’s annual holiday sale of fine art and crafts.
The two-month Shoreline Arts Trail exhibition will kick off with an opening reception on Thursday, November 4, from 5 – 8 PM

Artistry hours: are Monday–Saturday 10 am–6 pm, and Thursday 10 am–8 pm, Sunday 12-5 pm
The exhibition will run until January 9, 2011
Unfortunately Diane can’t be in all places at once. From November 4 – 7, she will be in Houston, Texas at the International Quilt Festival, participating in a Gallery Talk. The gallery talk is in support of the SAQA:Creative Force exhibition of fiber art, which premieres at IQF.
Fortunately, she will be back in Connecticut in time for the Shoreline Arts Trail Open Studios Weekend, November 20 –21, 2010. Diane Wright and fellow SAQA CT artists Linda Zimmerman and Vivika DeNegre are participating in this year’s Shoreline Arts Trail, a multi media event that spans Guilford, North Guilford, Madison and Branford, CT.
