Fiber Kismet: A Solo Exhibition of Fiber Art by Jane Davila
Over 50 framed works of fiber art by SAQA artist Jane Davila will be on display a the Edward J. Duffy Art Gallery at the Canterbury School from now until October 14, 2010.
Davila has spent the summer getting ready for this show. “Fiber Kismet” features many of the Loteria series, on display for the first time, as well as an assortment of gyotaku fiber and paper collages, insect work in a variety of formats, some new pieces inspired by cell phone photography and a few three-dimensional fiber houses.
