Many SAQA members have work in one of the fiber art exhibitions at Lowell. Take a stroll and see them on GALLERY NIGHT: Thursday Aug 12, 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The following venues will be open during these special evening hours:

IMAGES, the centerpiece of the Festival, is moving to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. This judged and juried exhibit will feature hundreds of entrants from around the country and around the world.

ART QUILTS LOWELL 2010 will run from Aug 10 – Sept 11, 2010 at the Brush Gallery. Sophisticated art and handmade tradition fuse seamlessly at The Brush as art quilters from across the United States showcase their work as part of the 2010 Lowell Quilt Festival.

FROM FINE ART TO FIBER: REINTERPRETING THE MASTERS will run from Aug 4 – Sept 4, 2010 at The Whistler House Museum of Art. The Whistler celebrates the Art Quilt with a focus on fine craftsmanship and visual design that transcends traditional patterns and functionality. The exhibit consists of quilts inspired by famous works of art.
