Doughty's work featured in SAQA Online Exhibition "Point of View"

Eileen Doughty's triptych "Welcome Communication" is among the art quilts on display in SAQA's current online exhibition. Created in 2002, "Welcome Communication" was commissioned by the Utah Public Art Program. It hangs in the reception area of the Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Taylorsville, Utah. Find out more about the triptych in Eileen's artist statement.

Point of View was curated by Jeanne Marklin, who describes the concept of the show:
Our lives, relationships, politics, ideas and style of communicating are all unique, according to our individual "point of view". The gallery includes work that is expressing a feeling or opinion, telling a story, or depicting a scene from a unique point of view.
SAQA's online gallery features quilted artwork and fiber creations by PAMs (Professional Artist Members). See the entire Point of View collection and other beautiful works by SAQA members on SAQA's main website
