Windham Textile & History Museum's 2019 quilt show "Under Cover Stories"
Show dates: May 3rd, - July 28th, 2019
- Saturday, May 11th - 2:00 p.m. – walk through talk by Fiber Artist,
Kathy Baglioni on her show “Celebrating Women in the Arts”
- Saturday, May 25th - Hampton Antiquarian Society/ Joan Johnson will
display their historical quilts. AND, Lois Palmer will be on hand to
do appraisals.
- Saturday, June 8th (CT OPEN HOUSE DAY- free museum day or reduced
rate day in the state) - Jillson House in Willimantic will be open and
displaying some of their Historical Quilts
- the museum will also be offering several 2-hour sessions (1:00 -
3:00 p.m.) on; Hand Embroidery- Sue Latulipe; Knitting 1-3 Faith
Kenton; and, Rug Hooking 1 – 3 Sue Bruno; and Hand-Quilting
Catherine Smith.
The Connecticut region of Studio Art Quilt Associates supports and promotes professional fiber artists and educators as well as quilters developing fine art skills.
