Dear Members,
It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that our dear friend, Karen Loprete, died on Monday afternoon.
Funeral arrangements are at the convenience of the family.
There have been initial discussions of a tribute show of Karen's work. Also, a very initial idea is to invite our members to create a piece that reflects Karen's style or spirit. We expect in the next week that details on these ideas will available.
The Connecticut region of Studio Art Quilt Associates supports and promotes professional fiber artists and educators as well as quilters developing fine art skills.
