March newsletter

Happy March! Have you been thinking about your artistic voice since our last meeting? Elizabeth Barton’s book “Visual Guide to Working in a Series” was recently recommended for such a journey – I’m hoping to check it out soon. Let me know if you’ve read it and what you think!

NEXT REGIONAL MEETING: April 9, 2016 at the Windsor Art Center (40 Mechanic Street, Windsor CT), starting at 10am.

          •  We will be viewing the exhibition, “Soulful Journeys” and at 1pm, some members of the CT-FAC will be giving an artists’ talk about some of their work in the show.

          •  Please keep your Show and Tell to one or two items so that we have time for everyone, and be sure to keep private conversations to a minimum during that time so that we can hear what everyone is up to.

          •  Sign up for lunch ($10) by emailing Christina by April 5th. If you do sign up, please make every effort to show up and pay in small bills/exact amounts, so that we can keep our pricing down. If you order a lunch and will not be able to make it to the meeting, please notify us ASAP so we can make adjustments.

          •  Don’t forget to bring your door-prize donations!
