Next SAQA Meeting: April 25, 2015 at the Willoughby Wallace Library (Branford, CT)

Please join us!  Our next SAQA-CT Regional Meeting will be at the Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library in Branford, CT – Saturday, April 25, 2015.  The meeting will run from 10 am – 2 pm.
While you’re visiting the library, take a few moments to enjoy “CLOTH WORKS”, a fiber art exhibition by

Lecture: The “Write” Stuff: Tips and ideas for submitting your art and projects for publication

Time: Apx. 30 minutes with Q&A to follow
SAQA member Normajean Brevik will give us an overview of the process that she uses when submitting her artwork for publication. She has been published in dozens of magazines and books in the fiber and mixed media fields.  Recently Normajean appeared on “Classroom Connections”, a public access TV show hosted by our very own SAQA-CT artist Jan Doyle.

Normajean Brevik is on on the C&T Publishing team testing new products. Normajean creates innovative projects to introduce new product lines to the consumer. Her prototypes have been used in product packaging, published in their books and used at trade shows.
NOTE:  Normajean is also defining some workshop ideas for those who want more personalize help in the writing process.
