Artwork Selected for “SAQA CT: Local Color” Exhibition

The results are in!  Jurors Fran Phillips and Michele Palmer had a difficult job to do, choosing 49 pieces of fiber art from 99 beautiful entries.

37 SAQA-CT artists will exhibit their work in the SAQA CT: Local Color exhibition.

SAQA CT: Local Color is a traveling exhibition that will premiere at The Ruth Haas Library at Western CT State University (Danbury, CT) on May 4, 2013.

Local Color will travel to several other venues such as the Legislative Office building in Hartford, CT and The Guilford Art Center, with more venues to be announced.  A show catalog featuring images of all the pieces in the Local Color show is planned for April 2013.
