Connecticut artists Diane Wright and Vivika Hansen DeNegre will have work on display at the Brush Gallery in Lowell, Massachusetts from May 7 through June 18, 2011.
This juried exhibition is part of the Brush Gallery's Art of Nature Exhibition Series and will be a mix of paintings, collage, fiber, photography, drawings and sculpture. It will be hung in time for the Brush's popular annual fundraiser on May 7th.
FOR THE BIRDS is a collaboration between the Brush Gallery and the Massachusetts Audubon Society to focus attention on birds and their habitats and to raise funds for the volunteers who care for injured birds until they are able to be returned to the wild. http://www.thebrush.org/exhibitions.htm

- Bird Watching Walk with the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust,Saturday, May 14, 7 - 9 am. You’ll explore the Lowell Cemetery and the Concord River Greenway Park. - Presentation by Massachusetts Audubon Society of live, wild native birds from Drumlin Farm, Sunday, June 5, noon to 2 pm.
- Bird rehabilitation presentation and slide show by Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of America, Sunday, June 5, 2 - 4 pm.
