A parlor/local connections/pod group [a small group or subgroup or micro-region
or...] is simply a smaller piece of our SAQA region. Forming these
groups can be extremely helpful - it's may be easier to coordinate more
regular meetings with a lower quantity of members, especially on a
tighter geographic scope. These groups give you obvious car-pool-buddies
when we have regional meetings or other interesting events which may be
a bit further away. It's also helpful for dropping off or picking up
work to various shows or exhibitions - being more local to each other
makes the logistics easier and seeing each other more frequently allows a
greater trust in handling each other's pieces.
