Invitation to SAQA Members: Special Exhibit at the CT Piecemaker's Quilt Show

SAQA Members, you are invited to exhibit your work in the CT Piecemakers (CTPQG) Spring Shower of Quilts 2016.

DEADLINE to submit the registration form is FEBRUARY 16, 2016.

Read on for important updates from Laureen Pekar and Barbara Dierolf:

Dear SAQA Members,

The CTPQG Quilt Show is just around the corner, and we look forward to receiving your entry in the SAQA invitational event. I am pleased to announce that the size requirement for art quilts has been eliminated.  Please get your registration form in asap to secure your space.
I plan to attend the April SAQA meeting and will gladly collect any registered invitational entries for the show. This will eliminate half the travel for participating SAQA members.

Also you can choose to pick up your quilts on Sunday evening, April 17, 2016 between 5-6pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Southbury, CT or at my home in Stratford, CT on Monday or Tuesday April 18 or 19, 2016. We can confirm the day and time after registration.

All art quilt entries are fully insured. I’m looking forward to working with you and displaying your beautiful art quilts at our show.
You can contact me at LNPekar@optonline.net if you need any information or a registration form.
Laureen Pekar

A Note from Barbara Dierolf, Chairman of the CTPQG Quilt Show:
The SAQA invitational event has been well publicized along with our quilt show publications. CTPQG is a large quilt guild; with over 200 members, both female and male from CT and other states. CTPQG has a benefactor fund, allowing us to hire professional teachers to speak at meetings and teach classes. Participating in our show gives you the opportunity to advertise your art work, which may lead to the prospect of a sale or being invited to teach.
